While the need to meet a consumer demand is the foundation of our existence, that of providing high quality stone countertops in a timely and cost effective manner, it is our base philosophy that both motivates and directs us.  Simply stated, our philosophy, as well as the tenants of it, revolves around Trust.

First, we trust that our belief in our personnel will result in superior customer satisfaction.

Trust is also the basis of our vision, for The Stonery will not yield its desire to earn the trust of its customers.  Our sights are intensely focused on our clients.  We want prospective customers to originate via referrals, each trusting that they will be educated, informed, and altogether satisfied in their quest for stone countertops just as those were that did the referring.  We understand that, as is the case with any relationship, trust must be the basis for the ongoing success of the company.  While we at The Stonery by no means consider the word “yes” to be an appropriate customer service mantra, we are committed to the concepts of credibility and reliability so that our customers will be able to trust what we tell them.  This is not to say that we are perfect and immune from mistakes, but it should be clear that our goal is to translate the trust we earn, one customer at a time, into The Stonery being the supplier of choice for countertops in our marketplace.

Our vision also embraces the concept Green operations.  The Stonery is committed to a) a silica dust free environment for its employees, b) recycling 100% of its usable waste water, and c) total elimination of waste water discharge from its 20,000 square foot facility.  This commitment is both expensive and operationally cumbersome, but ultimately responsible on a number of levels.  While one might be inclined to simply assume that all countertop companies operate responsibly, such is not the case.  We do hope that our prospective customers both ask about and inspect the environmental practices of our competitors.
