Regardless of the size and scope of any particular project, all projects undertaken by The Stonery follow the exact same procedural path. We do not deviate from our procedures.
While some may perceive this policy as rigidity inconsistent with good “customer service,” experience has shown us that exceptions and departures from a company’s standard operating procedures will ultimately result in decreased efficiencies, delayed schedules, hurried employees, errors, higher prices, and unhappy customers. The bottom-line is that our operating procedures exist for the benefit of our customers, all of our customers.

Formal Estimated Proposal Acceptance of Proposal – payment of 50% deposit Schedule Template and Installation Dates Final Specifications – materials, appliances, sinks, splashes, edge details Template Fabrication Installation and Inspection – payment of 50% balance
If your project is a remodel requiring the removal of existing countertops and reconnection of plumbing, we can accomodate your needs in an a fast and effecient manner with minimal disruption of your household. In most cases, but not all, the removal of the old tops will take place in the morning, we will install your new granite countertops in the afternoon, and the plumber will follow-up the next day to complete the process. If you so choose, The Stonery can also handle the installation of your new tile backsplash as well as other tasks related to your project.
Following these procedures, The Stonery will install the vast majority of its projects within seven to fourteen days from the time of the customer's Acceptance of The Stonery's Proposal and payment of the required deposit. Again, we hope that our firmness of schedule is not viewed as being contradictory to good customer service. Please understand that we are far more concerned with being able to meet the schedule we present our customers as opposed to our industry's norm of making promises that are likely not to be kept. While The Stonery does not embrace “yes” as a customer service mantra, we are determined to earn your trust and your future referrals.
